The velvety blanket of grass
Spreads across that pretty lawn
Little butterflies flutter across
Just a little after dawn

Soon little children run over its smoothness
Stepping over its lush green beauty
The dripping dew over its long blades
Wet the little feet at play

The blades throw back their heads
No matter how hard they are tread
They rustle to each other with joy
And wait patiently for the cover of night

So, send up a sweet aroma of prayer at morn
Be willing to be tread upon by day
Offer it all to the Lord with joy
And let Him embrace you with love at night

My steps are made faster
With longing for my Master
My heart beats with joy,
When I place my foot there.

The spirit pushes me to kneel
For His presence, to feel.
I pant like a little hart
To sing out loud from my heart.

Words flow out in praise
Thinking of His overflowing grace
I wait for Him with panting,
And open His word with longing.

I say, ‘Speak Judah’s Lion’
And out comes His word ,from Zion
His words satisfy my thirst
To walk in life’s desert

I walk out of the house of God
And meditate as I plod..
I think of the week ahead
And at His feet, my all I shed.

‘Life’, with its burdens and chores
Go on and on……
As I walk onward to reach that shore.

PRESSING ON

As I behold the fullness of God,
I feel a void in me..
As I behold the perfection of God,
I see my own imperfection

As I behold the ‘poverty in spirit’ in Jesus
I see my horrid pride
As I behold the goodness of God
I see my evil conscience

As I behold the riches of God
I see the spiritual poverty in me
As I behold the sweetness of God
I see the bitterness looming in my heart

As I gaze into the holiness of God
I see the corrupt adamic nature in me
As I meditate on the cross borne for me
I stand amazed at a love so real

Looking into His every godly nature
Makes me to examine the ‘self’ in me
Though perfection is an impossibility on earth
“Pressing onto perfection”, with Him, is a real possibility.

THE TAPESTRY

Every evening, I perched on a swinging garden chair
On the pretext of breathing in some fresh air
T’was one of those quiet, lonesome evenings
When my attention turned toward her

Seated on the grass, across the fence
Was a girl, head bent over her lap
Deeply engrossed in her work…. I edged
Closer to discover an unfinished canvas there

The canvas found its solace on
The pillow of her lap as
Nylon threads of blue, green and purple
Lay scattered on the grass

Day after day, as sunset neared
She sat doing her piece of tapestry
Humming a tune, working ceaselessly until
Darkness hovered, enveloping her.

Seated on my chair, I pictured the canvas
Wincing with pain as the needle pricked her (canvas) all, over
Like a movie at play, I heard the tangled threads
At her back (canvas), crying out to be set scot free.

I was caught off guard as ……
My thoughts jolted to a sudden halt…….
As I remembered someone working on
The tapestry of my jeopardized life.

A slow needle prick with love is what
He is instilling into me
Only to bring out a better picture
Onto the masterpiece.

Never showing me the fullness of the piece, but
Turning it over, He seeks to remove
Every single tangle, and to weave it into
Something more prettier than eyes can see.

Ultimately, one fine day when I look back
On life’s pathway that I trod
I will, with joy, behold the fullness of the masterpiece
With a golden thread having been woven
Thro’ the tapestry of my life.

Dear Parents,
You’ve made me walk with propriety,
Teaching me in all sincerity,
The love that you shower,
Has got an exclusive power,

That’s when you did scold
When I behaved bad
You were made sad
Your anger lasted for just a while
But your love is heaped up in a pile
When I was well clad (disciplined)
That made you glad,
It brought a smile on your face,

Whenever I cried,
You were there by my side,
To remove all my fear,
And wipe away my every tear.
The years spent with you have passed like a shade,

As I look into the intricacies of a petal in a flower,
As I watch the rose blossoming among many thorns
And as I gaze expectantly at the sky for a shower
I am filled with awe, at His wondrous creation

As I sit beside a still green lake
The silver lining of the orange sky tickle my eyes
And the thought of tail wriggling fishes inside the lake,
Light a smile on my face, as I wonder at the awe of His creation

As I look into the eyes of my child
I see the blue pool of innocence written therein
I run my fingers through the softness of his hair
And sit in silence at the wonder of His creation

But above all, the joy I enjoy within
That, I never can fully express
Is because, though he watches over all His creation

N’er denied the Lord, offering
To die as martyrs of the faith?

Sacrificially lived in shacks unclean
Striving to build the Kingdom of GOD?

Where are they, who
Gave up their pomp and style,
To live on few morsels a week?

Where are they, who
Roared on the pulpit with fire
Regarding the repercussions of sin?

Where are they, who
Spoke on the sin of anger, the sin of gossip
And the love of money?

Where are they, who

In reverence and humility before GOD?

LIFE’S JIGSAW

The jagged edges of uncertainties
Looked menacingly at me
The colors of unknown paths
Gazed open mouthed at my face

Pressures within and without
Weighed me down to zero
Unanswered questions, inexpressible sighs,
Popped from the depths of my soul.

I burnt up my energy, trying unsuccessfully
For days, months and years…
But it seemed an impossibility to
Make perfection resolve from such a puzzle

Knowing that no surety lay in
Solving such a messed up mess
I gave up all hope at wits end and sat
Mesmerized at the eerie silence that followed

Lo!!! Out of the blue, I could see
A hand seemed to do the impossible
Tirelessly, steadily, painstakingly setting the jigsaw in place
Making the puzzle fit into a picturesque beauty

Work done, the hand slowly withdrew to the backdrop
And tears rolled down my cheeks
As I recognized the mark of the nail
On the back of the puzzle solvers hand.

Before U were thought of or time had begun,

God stuck U in the name of His Son.

And each time U pray, you'll see it's true,

You can't spell out JesUs and not include U.

You're a pretty big part of His wonderful name,

For U, He was born; that's why He came.

And His great love for U is the reason He died.

It even takes U to spell crUcified

Isn't it thrilling and splendidly grand

He rose from the dead, with U in His plan?

The stones split away, the gold trUmpet blew,

And this word resUrrection is spelled with a U.

When JesUs left earth at His upward ascension,

He felt there was one thing He just had to mention.

"Go into the world and tell them it's true

That I love them all - Just like I love U."

So many great people are spelled with a U,

Don't they have a right to know JesUs too?

It all depends now on what U will do,

He'd like them to know,

But it all starts with U.

Bless those who are ill, and whose pain seems worst of all in the slow night hours.

Bless homes into which bad news has come,

homes in which some member of the family has brought shame upon himself

and sorrow to those who love him.

Bless those for whom life as fallen in.

Bless those who are wrestling with some temptation,

and those who have lost the battle.

Bless those who are separated from those thy love,

and who are lonely and anxious.

Where there is trouble of any kind, be there to comfort and support.

O God, if today

By being irritable and unreasonable,

I made trouble in the family circle;

By being careless and slack and inefficient at my work,

I made the tasks of others more difficult;

By being self-willed and stubborn and too set on my own way,

I was a problem to my friends and my companions.

Forgive me if today

I was too impatient with someone who was doing his best;

I have been too quick to take offense,

and to see slights where no slight was intended;

I did things badly, and caused others trouble,

because I was not attending to my instructions

and to my work as I ought to have been.

Help me tomorrow to be more strict with myself;

more understanding to others;

more faithful to my work than ever before;

through Jesus Christ my Lord.

Help me to be quick to notice things.

Help me to be quick to see

when someone is depressed and discouraged and unhappy.

when someone is lonely and shy and is left out of things.

those in illness and in pain, those whose life is in the balance,

those who are dying, those who are in the bewilderment,

those who are in regret and remorse,

those who have been driven to despair.

Bless me before I sleep, and grant me now

A grateful heart for all Your gifts;

A contrite heart for all my sins;

A heart at peace, because it rests in You,

this night we thank You for the comfort and the companionship and the love of this our home.

We thank You for the joy of being together in a family.

We ask You to bless those for whom there will be no sleep tonight;

those who must wrk without the night;

those who journey through the night by a sea or land or air,

to bring us our food, our letters, and our newspapers for the morning;

those who must be on duty all night to maintain the public services,

and to ensure the safety and the security of others;

doctors who must wake to usher new life into the world,

to close the eyes of those for whom this life is passing away,

to ease the sufferer’s fain;

nurses and all who watch by the bedside of those who are ill;

those who this night will not sleep because of the pain of their body or the distress of their mind;

those in misfortune, who will lie down in hunger and in cold.

Grant that in our happiness and our own comfort we may never forget the sorrow and the pain,

the loneliness and the need of others in the slow, dark hours.

with Your love and care surrounding me;

Tired of Waiting for Success in the Internet business???????

Are you one of those people who get very impatient when you have to wait? If you are, you have good company. I am convinced that many of us suffer from a lack of patience, especially in internet businesses……

In our hurry-up-and-go world it can be very frustrating when we can’t go faster and do more. We’ve been trained to expect things fast. No wonder we’re so impatient therefore we want to see results and Money Pouring in soon. We think “The Sooner the Better!!!!!!!!”

However, let’s face it: this “need for speed” has created plenty of problems in its wake.

So lets see what God wants to say to us through the many examples in the Bible:

1) The Bible is full of stories about the many years God took preparing people for some incredible tasks. Abraham and Sara were long past childbearing age when God’s promise of a son for them came about.

2) Joseph had to endure imprisonment before finding favor in Egypt, and then it was much later before his brothers traveled there looking for famine relief and eventually discovering the fate of the one they’d sold into slavery.

3) Moses tended sheep for forty years before his call to return to Egypt and ask Pharaoh for deliverance of his people. Moreover, the Israelites wandered for another forty years before entering the Promised Land.

Now these are just a few examples from the Old Testament.

Recall that Jesus started his ministry with forty days of fasting, prayer and temptation in the desert. That was after thirty years of non-public life. Clearly, God has reasons for His timing.

Now in our very own lives we think we’re stuck in dead-end internet jobs and we wonder if God is even listening., when we ask him to hurry up our results or show us an easy way…..

But let us all remember, its all in HIS TIME that things will work out, but that does not mean we sit around and wait without doing anything…..Read Articles about your businesses, Implement them, and I’am sure success will be yours.

So the next time you are stuck in a long line, or frustrated that your prayers have yet to be answered, try thanking God for your life and the opportunity to pause and appreciate it.
